The short version
EatProper is a free community platform. You can post recipes, join discussions, and share your experience. Be respectful, don't spam, and don't post anything you don't have the right to share. We can remove content or accounts that violate these terms.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use EatProper.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
- One account per person. Don't create alt accounts to evade bans or manipulate votes.
Content you post
- You own your content. By posting on EatProper, you grant us a license to display it on the platform.
- Don't post content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights.
- Recipes you share should be your own or properly attributed.
- Photos must be yours or used with permission.

Recipes and food safety
Recipes on EatProper are shared for informational purposes only. By using any recipe on this site, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own kitchen, cooking decisions, and food safety practices.
- Cook times, oven temperatures, and internal-temperature targets are guidelines based on typical equipment. Your results may vary. Always verify doneness with an instant-read thermometer and follow USDA or equivalent food safety guidelines for your region.
- Some recipes involve raw or undercooked beef, seafood, or eggs. Consuming raw or undercooked meat, poultry, seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially if you are pregnant, elderly, immunocompromised, or serving young children. Source from trusted suppliers and use pasteurized products where available.
- Allergens and dietary restrictions are your responsibility to verify. We do not guarantee any recipe is safe for any specific allergy or condition.
- High-heat cooking, deep frying, and open flames carry risks of burns, splatter, and fire. Use appropriate equipment, never leave hot oil unattended, and keep a fire extinguisher rated for kitchen fires nearby.
- Sharp tools, including knives, cause most home-kitchen injuries. Always cut on a stable board, never in your hand.
Moderation
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or ban accounts that violate these terms. Moderation decisions can be appealed by contacting us.
Availability
We try to keep EatProper running smoothly, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. The platform is provided "as is" without warranties.
Limitation of liability
EatProper is not liable for any health outcomes, injuries, property damage, or other losses resulting from dietary information, recipes, or community content shared on the platform. This includes but is not limited to foodborne illness, burns, cuts, kitchen fires, allergic reactions, and health effects of dietary choices. Use all information at your own risk and consult appropriate professionals.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on the platform.
