Ingredients

1

Scaled to 1 serving (0.5x)

  • 1 lb pre-cooked crab legs (king or snow), thawed if frozen
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • flaky salt

Instructions

  1. 1

Bring 1 inch of water to a boil in a large pot with a steamer basket or rack.

  2. 2

Arrange crab legs in the basket, bending if needed. Cover.

  3. 3

Steam 5-7 minutes until heated through. Crab is already cooked, you are just warming.

  4. 4

Meanwhile, melt butter in a small saucepan over low. Skim the white foam off the top. The golden liquid underneath is drawn butter.

  5. 5

Plate the crab. Crack with a cracker or kitchen shears. Dip meat in warm drawn butter. Finish with flaky salt.
